Sly2 is an artist, illustrator and decorator who started working with
graffiti in 2001. Born in 1984, portraits are one of his principal areas of focus. The influence of comic books, graffiti and Arabic writing are all very clear in his paintings, and circular
shapes are also a common theme.
His
work has moved from canvas to wall via vehicle bodywork, body painting, photography, customised objects and textiles, collages, CD sleeves and illustration. Sly has no limits when it comes to
the material he works on. He is always looking to find new techniques and has no hesitation about using several media within one single work.
